Germany

  • A further seven films by Urban Gad starring Asta Nielsen have its world premiere, including The Power of Gold (3 February ), Poor Jenny (2 March ), hounded to death (April 13 ), The children of General (5 October ) and When the mask falls (November 1 ). All are assigned for different reasons with youth ban. Some of these films are also international successes.

Austria

  • March 5: The Unknown With Austria's first large-scale production in the cinemas appears. The film is the first time occupied with numerous renowned stage actors and is lavishly advertised. At the same time, it is the longest Austrian film production.
  • May 20: For the first time a film is presented in an Austrian school, the Vienna public school at Frederick Place in the 15th district of Vienna Rudolf -Fuenfhaus.
