1913–14 in English football

The Football League First Division 1913/14, was the 26th season of the Football League First Division as the highest English football league. The Blackburn Rovers won by seven points behind Aston Villa before the second English championship in their history. Of the two climbers Preston North End and Burnley FC only the club from Burnley could get the class. Together with " PNE " had Derby County take the course in the Second Division. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two newly promoted second division Notts County and Bradford Park Avenue.

A total of 511 players were used, with the fewest Oldham Athletic and Bradford City and Manchester United with 30 aufboten 20 most players in league games. 155 newcomers were offset by 151 footballers who most recently came into play in the season 1913/14.

It must be noted that in most cases a minimum number of games will be provided in English football to accept the official champion medal allowed. As regards the specific arrangements prior to the introduction of the Premier League, there is lack of clarity, all the players with an asterisk (*) have been provided which have received no champion medal presumably because of their small contribution. In brackets the number of bets as well as the goals achieved are called.
