1919 Giro d'Italia

The 7th Giro d'Italia was held from May 21 to June 8, 1919 and was the first Giro after the First World War. The cycling consisted of 10 stages with a total length of 2,984 kilometers.

From 66 participants reached only 15 target. Costante Girardengo won his first Giro victory in the " eternal second " Gaetano Belloni. With Marcel Buysse of Belgium was a foreigner on the podium for the first time.
