Following two highly sovereign ideas against Chile (5-0 ) and Paraguay ( 3-1 ), the goal machine of the " Urus " came to star striker Pedro Petrone only against archrival Argentina to a halt. However, the 0:0 final score was the Olympic champion to win the tournament. The success was the Uruguayans without their superstar José Leandro Andrade. He was indeed the Uruguayan squad, but participated in any of the three games. The role Andrades as big star was taken over by Pedro Petrone. The scorer of the Olympic football tournament scored the most goals in the tournament and also was also awarded the best player.

The team stayed in all three games without conceding a goal. But disappointed the other showpiece of Argentine football, the storm. Only whole two goals scored the team during the tournament. It was the storm weakness, especially in the 0-0 draw against Paraguay, which prevented a greater success of the Argentine at the end.

Player-Coach: Manuel Fleitas Solich - Paraguay finally finished again in third. A smooth 1-3 defeat against Uruguay ended prematurely all hopes of the first tournament victory that had germinated after the 0-0 draw to kick off against Argentina. At the end of Paraguay could nevertheless clearly refer Chileans fourth. Perhaps the Paraguayans would have been more successful if their association this tournament not only organized, but fought out in their own country would have.

Three clear defeats in three games here really spoke for themselves. The Chileans also resolved post haste not to go at the next " Copa " at the start.
