1925 South American Championship

The Campeonato Sudamericano 1925 was the ninth playout the South American continental championship in football and was held from November 29 to December 25 for the third time in Argentina instead. At this football tournament only three countries participated; this was the most lowest number of participants. There were missing this year due to heavy internal association Uruguay and Chile dispute due to the weak result at last South American Championship in 1924.

The championship was as before ( FFA ) played in the league system. Case of a tie for first place, a playoff was provided. Due to the small number of participants, however, it was decided this year a double play off round. All games were held in Buenos Aires in the stadiums Sportivo Barracas and CA Boca Juniors played the then framed around 25,000 spectators each.

South American champions in 1925 was the second time Argentina.
