Especially the amount of defeats had to scare. The 0:8 defeat against Argentina was up to this time, the heaviest defeat in a " Copa " at all. Even more disappointing was the view from Paraguay 1:5 against Chile, a decisive defeat against an opponent who had been held to date for weaker than your own team. Extrapolating the abstinent Brazilian with a, Paraguay was after this tournament, only the number 5 in South American football.

The game against Chile was the first international match in Bolivia and therefore the sporty behind the other South American football nations was enormous that performed Internationals for several years. He should also not be significantly reduced in the coming years initially.
