1931–32 NHL season
The NHL season 1931/32 was the 15th season in the National Hockey League. Eight teams each played 48 games. The Stanley Cup won by the Toronto Maple Leafs after a 3-0 victory in the final series against the New York Rangers. For the first time since 1918 started fewer teams than last year in a season. The Philadelphia Quakers and the Ottawa Senators were not in this season. Ottawa paused only a year, while we now had to make do without NHL 36 years in Philadelphia. Despite the recession, Conn Smythe invested in a new stadium. He was ridiculed for this venture, but when on November 12, 13,233 spectators attended the first game against Chicago, he was the one who could last laugh. A rule change called for the Bruins. After the Americans made 61 of liberation from your 3-2 victory, called for the introduction of one of today's " icing " rule. The NHL rejected and the Bruins thrashed the puck at the next meeting with the Americans 87 times just ahead. To introduce the necessary control it came only in 1937, however,
