1931 Balkan Cup

The 2nd Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams of countries from the Balkan region. It was founded in 1931, coinciding with the Balkans Cup 1929-31 and is therefore considered rather as an unofficial event. The games were held in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in September and October. In addition to the hosts even Yugoslavia and Turkey participated in the tournament. Each team played in group mode once against each other, so that only three games took place. The maximum yield of four points was finally Bulgaria at the top, the income should be a little later than 1929-31 Table in Balkan Cup. Top scorer was the Bulgarian Panchev ( three hits).
