1933 Balkan Cup

The 4th Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams of countries from the Balkan region. The games took place in Romania's capital Bucharest in June 1933. Addition to the host took as in the previous edition again Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Greece in the tournament. Each team played in group mode once against each other, the game plan of the previous edition has been adopted. The maximum yield of six points, three wins and clean sheets finally lay Romania at the top, which had been the first Balkan Cup 1929-31 decided for themselves. Defending Bulgaria was with just one win from third parties. Top scorer were the Romanians Gheorghe Ştefan Ciolac and Dobay (four hits).
