1934 European Athletics Championships
The first European Athletics Championships were held until September 9th, 1934 in Turin on 7. The competitions were held at the Stadio Benito Mussolini. Eligible were at that time only men, women were allowed to participate only after 1938.
The highlight was the javelin world record of the Finn Matti Järvinen ( 76.66 m).
