1937 Mestaruussarja – Finnish League Championship
The Mestaruussarja 1937 was the eighth season of the Finnish football league Mestaruussarja. Master was HIFK Helsinki defending champions HJK Helsinki.
An innovation there was the descent system: After yet the two bottom club were always directly descended, now a relegation was introduced. The Tabellensiebente played against the second-best second-division team. For 1937, this meant that in the relegation IFK Vaasa and Vaasa PS played against each other. Vaasa PS could be in the derby after a 2-2 draw in the first leg just prevail 3-2 against IFK Vaasa and thus rose to.
