1937 Tschammerpokal

The third competition for the Tschammerpokal took place in 1937.

At the 1937 competition was attended by 4500 teams, mostly for cost reasons, about 1000 less than in the previous circle division had reported. There were some organizational glitches, contrary to the statute Cup had several Gauligameister already compete at the regional level. That had, among other things means that the Pomeranian champion Viktoria Stolp was no longer represented in the first final round. Due to a calculation error was the field of the first final round instead of only 64 out of 61 teams, so three teams received a bye. On previous mode Gaugruppenspiele - Final Round - Quarter - to semifinals and finals, nothing changed.

Winner of the final match on January 9, 1938 FC Schalke 04 with a 2-1 victory over Fortuna Dusseldorf.
