The 57th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1937 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Church Road instead.

The American Don Budge became the first player in the men in all three competitions (single, doubles and mixed ) the title. For the first time transferred the BBC individual games on television.

Men's Singles

Don Budge defeated in the final Gottfried von Cramm in straight sets.

Women's Singles

In the women's Dorothy Round won their second title after 1935.

Men's doubles

In the men's doubles Don Budge and Gene Mako were successful.

Women Doubles

Simone Mathieu and Billie Yorke were victorious in women's doubles.

Mixed

In Mixed Alice Marble and Don Budge won.
