1938 Tschammerpokal

The Tschammerpokal 1938 was the fourth edition of the German football cup competition.

The competition started on January 9, 1938 after the first mode of the previous years with the elimination rounds for the teams of the circuit and district classes, then use the Gaugruppenspielen and the final two rounds and the last sixteen. While the competition was already running was connected to the German Empire on 13 March 1938 Austria. After completion of the Austrian football season 1937/38, the Austrian football was incorporated into the German professional association football, which decided that participate from the quarter-finals on eight Austrian teams at Tschammerpokal. Chosen the first six of the past championship and two second-class season winner. The quarter-final was split into three rounds, two elimination rounds, each with eight teams of the " Old Empire " and the " Ostmark " ( Austria ) and then the actual quarter-finals.
