1939 International Lawn Tennis Challenge
The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1939 was the 34th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe and the Americas region, the Americas zone were divided into a North and Central America South America group and a group. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the final.
In continental playoff to Australia prevailed against Yugoslavia, and defeated in the subsequent from 2 to 5 September held the final defending champion United States. It was the seventh from title of Australia, and the first since 1919.

Brazil was the only participant of the South American group, by definition, are the winners.

Brazil did not occur at the intra- continental playoff against Australia.

In the playoff between the two winners of the continental zones Australia triumphed over Yugoslavia.
