1940–41 Svenska Serien season
The season 1940/41, was the sixth season of the series Svenska i Ishockey, the highest Swedish hockey league. Master was Hammarby IF. The IFK Marie Fred and IK dismounted Sture in the second division.
Mode
In the main round each of the eight teams completed a total of seven games. The top four teams qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. The remaining four teams had to play in the relegation round, the two last placed relegation to the second division. The results from the main round were incorporated into the final or relegation round. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
