1946 Balkan Cup

The 8th Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams of countries from the Balkan region. The games found in October 1946 for the first time after the Second World War instead. Host country was Albania, which for the first time ever participated in the tournament at the same time. Addition to the host again Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria participated in the tournament; However, Greece was missing in contrast to the final staging of 1936. Each team played in group mode once against all others. At the end of the Albanians were in the lead and brought in their first participation also created the title.
