1946 Grand Prix season

The race of the Grand Prix season in 1946 were difficult to organize. Gasoline was almost not available. For cost reasons, was driven on city streets or in parks that were accessible from the spectators on foot. German riders and teams were not allowed to start, the Italians and the French have been largely left to themselves. In addition to the races listed here some of the smaller national races even took place.

Grand Prix of Nice

The Grand Prix of Nice was held on April 22, 1946 along the seafront Promenade des Anglais in Nice.

Coupe René Le Begue

The Coupe René Le Begue was held on June 8, 1946 held in the Parisian suburb of Saint -Cloud and was named in honor of the French driver Rene Le Begue, who had recently come before tragically lost his life, named.

Grand Prix of Albi

At the Grand Prix of Albi on July 14, 1946 Tazio Nuvolari won the last time a Grand Prix.

Grand Prix des Nations

For the Grand Prix des Nations, the center of Geneva was chosen as the venue. Farina won his first Grand Prix after the war.

Grand Prix of Turin
