1947–48 BAA season
The BAA - season 1947/48 was the second season of the BAA, which was later merged with the NBL to NBA. At the end of the season the League defeated freshman from Baltimore surprising the defending champion from Philadelphia and became Champion.

Season notes
- Before the season starts, the teams came out of Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Toronto back in the league. However, the comprehensive now seven teams League advocated for a new member of the ABL, the Baltimore Bullets.
