1947–48 Czechoslovak Extraliga season

The season 1947/48 1st League was the fifth regular hosting of the highest Hockey Class of Czechoslovakia. With two wins ( 7:1 and 13:5 ) of the LTC Prague sat down in the final game against the I. ČLTK Prague by and thus won the fifth edition of the first league. For the capital city, it was already their total tenth Czechoslovak championship.

Mode

As in the previous season the league was played in two groups. As had prevailed in the early season of ČSK Říčany in the playoff for the first league rise against SK Slavia Prague 4-2, the number of participants in group A B ( six teams) was re- adjusted to the number of the group. Since each team played against each group opponent once, the total number of matches per team was five games in the main round. The two group winners qualified for the finals for the title. Since the league the following year the division disbanded again in groups, the two last of each group increased from to with eight teams continue to play a simple round.

In the final match finally won the winner of the A group, the LTC Prague, with two significant victories against the city neighbors I. ČLTK Prague by. Best scorer of the league was Vladimír Kobranov from I. ČLTK Prague, who scored 20 goals in the six games of his team.
