1947–48 Divizia A

The Divizia A 1947/48 was the 11th season in the history of Romanian football league Divizia A. Champion was again ITA Arad. The league was increased to 16 teams before the season starts.

Regulate

The Divizia A played with 16 teams. The two last- placed teams were relegated in the Divizia B. For a victory, there were two points for a draw and one point for a loss no points.

Results

1 Juventus Bucharest was taken over by the state oil company and changed its name then Distribuţia in Bucharest.

2 Ciocanul Bucharest was merged with Unirea Tricolor Bucharest Dinamo Bucharest. Ciocanul played the season as Dinamo "A" Unirea Tricolor as Dinamo "B" to the end.

3 Ferar Cluj merged with CFR Cluj. The club played as CFR Cluj on.

4 Dermagant Targu Mures changed his name to RATA Targu Mures.

5 Carmen Bucharest was forcibly dissolved. The space freed up was the newly founded club AS Armata Bucharest awarded.

6 Oţelul Resita changed his name to Metalochimic Resita.
