1948–49 NHL season
The NHL season 1948/49 season was the 32nd season of the National Hockey League. Six teams each played 60 games. The Stanley Cup won by the Toronto Maple Leafs after a 4-0 win in the final series against the Chicago Blackhawks and managed so as a first hat-trick. Montreal goalie Bill Durnan brought in 309 gegentorlosen minutes the opposing strikers to despair.
