1948 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The European Volleyball Championship Men 1948 was held from 24 to 26 September in Rome. At the premiere of the competition six teams were involved. The German team was not among them. Czechoslovakia became the first European Champion without dropping a set.
Mode
The six participants were grouped together and played " all against all ". The team that took first place in the table at the end, was the winner of the tournament.
