1949 Ostzonenmeisterschaft

The Ostzonenmeisterschaft 1949 was held as last season in a tournament with ten teams. Participants were the champions and runners of the five national championships. In the final round, a pure knockout system was played. Champion last year's finalist zsg Union Hall. Last year's champion SG Planitz could not qualify for the finals ( See also: Zone Championship ).
