1950–51 Nationalliga A season
The season 1950/51 was the 13th regular hosting of the National League A, the top Swiss league in hockey. For the first time in their history, the EHC Arosa was Swiss champion.
Mode
Like last year, the league in the main round was divided into two groups of four teams each. Each of the teams played in home and away leg against each group opponent, bringing the total number of matches per team was six. Subsequently, the two best teams in each group qualified for the final round, the winner champion, while the remaining four teams competed against each other for the league and the Last of the relegation round had to compete against the best second division side in the relegation. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw one point. At a loss to give any points.
