1950 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The European Women's Volleyball in 1950 took place from 14 to 20 October in Sofia instead. The tournament, which took place a year after the first European Championship, attended six teams. The Soviet Union defended her title.

The six participants were grouped together and played " all against all ". The team that took first place in the table at the end, was the winner of the tournament.
