1951–52 IHL season
The season 1951/52, was the seventh regular season of the International Hockey League. During the regular season, five teams contested every 48 games. In the play-offs, the Toledo Mercurys prevailed that could defend her last year's success and won the third Turner Cup in their history.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Detroit Auto Club provided a playing mode.
- The Sarnia Sailors were transferred to the Ontario Hockey Association.
- The Troy Bruins were added as an expansion team in the league.
