1951 DDR-Oberliga (ice hockey) season
The East German Ice Hockey Championship 1951 was held still in 1950 from November 30 to December 17. In three -point rounds within the newly created DS- hockey league came together the top four participants in the meetings held in the February winter sports championship in the newly built East Berlin Werner Seelenbinder hall. The Championships should be completed before Christmas so that the hall for cycling events in January could be used. Rise tournament for League 1951/52,
For the coming season the increase of the field to six teams was decided.
