1951 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The Volleyball European Championship Men 1951 was held from September 12 to 22 in Paris. For the first time, ten teams participated in the tournament. The German team was not among them. The Soviet Union defended their title from last year without dropping a set.
Mode
First, a preliminary round was held, in which the ten participants were divided into two triples and a group of four. The top two teams in each group played in the final group of " all against all " for the title. The remaining four teams determined in a second group places seven to ten.
