1951 World Wrestling Championships

The Wrestling World Championships were held in 1951 to 29 April 1951 in Helsinki on 26. The wrestlers were divided into eight weight classes. In contrast to all previously transmitted World Championships has not wrestled in the Greco-Roman but in free style. The wrestlers from Turkey secured in seven of the eight competitions medals. Only Adil Candemir could come up with a sixth place in the 87 kg weight class above do not place on the medals.
