1952 Kern County earthquake

The core -county earthquake occurred on July 21, 1952 at Kern County, in Southern California.

The quake occurred on the White Wolf fault Fault. With a magnitude of 7.5 on the moment magnitude scale, it was the strongest since the 1857 Fort Tejon earthquake - and Lone Pine Earthquake 1872. During main quake twelve people were killed, 18 injured and damages of $ 50 million caused. Also in Los Angeles six people died.
