1954 Davis Cup
The 1954 Davis Cup was the 43rd edition of the competition organized by the ITF for Mr. teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe, and the Americas zone. The winners of the zones were playing for the final.
In the playoff, the U.S. put against Sweden 5-0 clear through, and defeated in the subsequent from December 27 to 29 held final defending champion Australia 3-2. It was the 18th title of the United States so far.

In the final between defending champions Australia and the U.S., the USA was able to prevail 3-2. It was the eleventh final of the U.S. against Australia in series. The United States won the 18th title yet.
