1955–56 Danish Ice Hockey Championship season

The 1955/56 season was the second edition of the Danish Ice Hockey Championship. Champion for the first time in club history at all of the KSF Copenhagen.

Silkeborg SF qualified with four wins against the other participants and a goal difference of 28:9 for the final tournament of Zealand.

Final

Due to logistical problems Silkeborg SF did not take part in the finals, so that the two clubs Zealanders playing off the championship among themselves. The finale was held on a flooded and frozen tennis court in Hørsholm. Due to thaw the ice conditions were bad, so that players of the KSF Copenhagen initially proposed to discharge only a friendly. This was rejected by the Rungsted IK.
