1955 Dodge
The Dodge Royal was a great car produced in the Dodge model years 1954 to 1959. 1954 was the Royal the top model to take in 1955 the central place in the model range.

The Dodge Meadowbrook was the cheapest option at this year, the Coronet mean that. It was ranked the Royal, which was only available with the "Red Ram " Chrysler Hemi engine with 3949 cc capacity. As the Coronet was also the Royal is a 3- speed automatic transmission, which was operated by a pedal in the footwell. A shift lever is not needed.
1955-1957

1955 fell off the Meadowbrook, so the Coronet represented the lowest-priced Dodge deal. The Royal was the mean model and the top model of the Custom Royal was launched. The cars were powered by a V8 Chrysler Hemi engine with 5211 cc capacity, which - depending on the carburetor assembly - 218 - 260 bhp made .
There were a number of body variants:
- 3 - or 5- door station wagon - it was called Suburban
- 2-door hardtop coupe - the Lancer
- 2 - or 4 -door sedan
1958-1959
The 1958 and 1959 models of Royal, the Coronet and the Custom Royal had DeSoto chassis were, but with less chrome trim. As engines were the 4.4 liter V8 " Red Ram " or the "Super Red Ram " with 5.3 to 5.9 liters available.
In model year 1960, the Royal was replaced by the model Matador.
