1958 European Athletics Championships
The 6th European Athletics Championships were held until August 24, 1958 in Stockholm on 19. The competitions were held in the Olympic Stadium of 1912.
There were two European records: The Czech Dana Zátopková reached the javelin a distance of 56.02 m; the German Martin Lauer equaled the record for the 110 meter hurdles ( 13.7 seconds).
