1959–60 IHL season

The season 1959/60 was the 15th regular season of the International Hockey League. During the regular season, eight teams 67-68 games contested. In the play-offs is translated by the St. Paul Saints and won the first Turner Cup in their history.

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

  • The Troy Bruins stopped the game operation.
  • The Milwaukee Falcons were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Denver Mavericks were added as an expansion team in the league and settled even during the season to Minneapolis, Minnesota to and played from now on under the name Minneapolis Millers.
  • The Omaha Knights were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The St. Paul Saints were taken as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Toledo Mercurys changed their name to Toledo -St. Louis Mercury.
