1960–61 Polska Liga Hokejowa season
The 1960/61 season was the sixth season of the Playoff Final, the highest Polish Hockey League and the 26th season of the Polish Ice Hockey Championship. Master became the total tenth time in the club's history Legia Warszawa. ŁKS Łódź and Fortuna Wyry descended into the 2nd league.
Mode
In the main round of the league was divided into two regional groups, the Northern Group with seven teams was smaller than the Southern group with eight teams. The eight best teams in the country qualified for the national championship, where the top four teams in the final round played for the title and the other four teams in the national championship in the relegation round played against relegation. The two last placed the relegation round rose from the 2nd league. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
