1962 Mestaruussarja
The Mestaruussarja 1962 was won by Valkeakosken Haka. The third was last year became 1960 Finnish football champions. Defending Helsingfors IFK only reached the seventh place in the table.
In the finals of the Finnish Cup football HPS Helsinki won with 5-0 against RoPS Rovaniemi. The game saw on October 21, 1962 5,000 spectators in the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki.
