1964–65 Norwegian 1. Divisjon season

The season 1964/65 was the 26th season of the first divisjon, the highest Norwegian ice hockey league. Champion for the fourth time in club history Vålerenga Ishockey. Furuset Ishockey got down to the second division.

Mode

In the main round each of the six teams completed a total of ten games. The winner of the main round was master, the last placed dismounted in the second division. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
