1965–66 1.Lig

Turkish soccer champions of the 1965/66 season was Beşiktaş Istanbul. It was the second win of the championship by Beşiktaş. Şeker and Beykozspor were relegated the season.

Gençlerbirliği Ankara made ​​it the history of the Süper Lig first team that did not come from Istanbul, to finish the season in the top three. The previous seasons made ​​the three clubs from Istanbul - Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray - the first three places among themselves.
