The American actress Olivia de Havilland was jury president this year. At her side was the honorary president of the jury André Maurois. The other jury members were Alain Robbe- Grillet, Konstantin Simonov, Edmond Ténoudji, Goffredo Lombardo, Jerzy Toeplitz, Max Aub, Michel Aubbriant and Rex Harrison.
