1966–67 1.Lig

Turkish soccer champions of the season 1966/67, was Beşiktaş Istanbul. It was the third championship this team. İstanbulspor, Izmirspor and Karşıyaka SK were relegated the season. This season, 17 teams took part in the championship, one more than in the previous season. The last time three teams from 1964 up to the 2nd league.

The season was again, as in the previous season, very balanced. From the fifth to 15th place ( relegation zone ), there was only a difference of four points.

Newcomers from the 2nd league were Eskişehirspor, Altınordu Izmir and Karşıyaka SK.
