1966–67 Swedish Division I season
The season 1966/67, was the 23rd season of Division 1 as the highest Swedish hockey league. Champion for the third time in club history Brynäs IF. Skellefteå AIK, Clemensnäs IF, Örebro SK and BK Avesta descended to the second division.
Mode
In the main round of the league was divided into two groups ( North and South). Each of the eight teams in each group completed a total of 21 games. The top four teams from each group qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The two last placed each group went directly into the second division. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
