1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games
The British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1966 were the eighth edition of that event, which is known as the Commonwealth Games today. They found from 4 to 13 August 1966 in the Jamaican capital Kingston instead.
Were carrying 110 competitions in the sports badminton, boxing, fencing, weightlifting, athletics, cycling, wrestling, shooting and swimming ( including diving). It was attended by 1050 athletes from 34 countries. Main competition venue was the Independence Park.
