1967–68 Czechoslovak Extraliga season

The season 1967/68 1st League was the 25th regular hosting of the highest Hockey Class of Czechoslovakia. With 59 points, the Army Sports Club Dukla Jihlava prevailed. For the team it was their total second Czechoslovak championship.

Mode

As in the previous season the league was played with ten teams. Since each team fought out against each group opponent each two home and away games, the total number of matches per team was 36 games. Champion was the winner of the Main Round. The-table rose directly into the respective national championship.

Best scorer in the league was in January Havel Spartak CKD Prague, who scored 39 goals in the 36 games of his team.

1st League qualifier

The winners of the four second division groups, motor České Budějovice, Spartak Hradec Králové, Ostrava VŽKG Dukla Trenčín and played in home and away leg for admission to the first league for the following season. Here, České Budějovice prevailed with ten points and was promoted to the first league.
