1967–68 Swedish Division I season

The 1967/68 season was the 24th season of Division 1 as the highest Swedish hockey league. Champion for the fourth time in club history Brynäs IF. Tegs SK, Strömsbro IF, Färjestad BK and Tingsryds AIF descended to the second division.

Mode

In the main round of the league was divided into two groups ( North and South). Each of the eight teams in each group completed a total of 21 games. The top four teams from each group qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. The two last placed each group went directly into the second division. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
