1967 Intertoto Cup
The first Intertoto Cup was played in 1967. It is the successor of the abolished competition in the preseason International Football Cup. In this tournament only group matches were carried out, as the knockout phase was abolished for several reasons.
In this tournament 48 teams participated, including for the first time teams from Denmark.
