1968–69 DFB-Pokal
DFB Cup winners in 1969 and was the fourth time in FC Bayern Munich, the so 1.FC Nuremberg replaced as record cup winners, who was defeated in the semifinals. Bayern won the 1969 DFB Cup for the third time in four years. This time the Bavarians managed the Double: they won for the first time the German championship and the DFB Cup in one season. This was previously only FC Schalke 04 ( 1937). Holders 1 FC Köln already retired on the first main round against VfB Stuttgart.
