Golden Globe Award

On February 12, will be held the Golden Globe Awards at the Coconut Grove.

On 10 April, the Academy Awards Santa Monica Civic Auditorium will take place. Actually, she was scheduled for April 8, but due to the funeral after the assassination of Martin Luther King was postponed by two days. Moderator is Bob Hope.

International Film Festival of Cannes 1968

The 21st International Film Festival of Cannes 1968 to be held from 10 May to 24 May 1968. On May 18, the jury members Louis Malle and Roman Polanski, together with Claude Berri, Jean -Gabriel Albicocco, Claude Lelouch and Jean -Luc Godard declared solidarity with the students of the Paris Maiunruhen and called for the demolition of the festival. On 19 May 1968, the festival was finally actually canceled and no prizes for the competition which took office in Movies forgiven.

International Film Festival Berlin 1968

The festival begins on 21 June and ends on July 2. The jury will award the following prizes:

  • Golden Bear: Get out you're by Jan Troell
  • Best Actor: Jean -Louis Trintignant in L' Homme qui ment
  • Best Actress: Stéphane Audran in Les Biches
  • Best Director: Carlos Saura for Peppermint Frappé

Film Festival of Venice

The festival starts on August 25 and ends on September 7. The jury will award the following prizes:
