1968 Mestaruussarja

The Mestaruussarja 1968 was the 38th season for the Finnish football championship since the introduction of Mestaruussarja. It was contested among twelve teams. Master was Turun Palloseura defending champions Lahti Reipas.

Scorer

Tommy Lindholm TPS Turku was again top scorer with 23 goals.

FA Cup

The final of the Finnish Football Cup was held in the Olympic Stadium Helsinki between Kuopion Palloseura and defending Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat on 12 October 1968. Kuopio won 2-1.

International truncation

Turun Palloseura qualified as a Master for the European Cup of Champions 1969/70, Cup Winners Kuopion Palloseura participated in the European Cup Winners' Cup 1969/70 in part:
